The Unheard

The Unheard

Left speechless, words escape me

No excuses left, only silence

Should confess, 'it was my fault?"

But I was in the backyard, lost in my hobby's calm

Still, the weight of responsibility stays

A burden to bear, a heart that sways

Accepting blame, a bitter pill to swallow

A pain that lingers, a disappointment to follow

Perhaps time will heal, perhaps it won't

But for now, l'm left with this hollow thought

A search for answers, a reason to claim

But the truth remains exclusive, a lingering shame
