Beyond Silence

Deep inside me, a nagging doubt resides,

Something feels off, a sense of unease I've tried.

To shake it off, but it persists, a constant hum,

Do you mind if we talk about it, my dear, my love?

What's wrong, my heart beats fast, my mind awhirl?

Why this fear of distance, these unsettling thoughts I've heard?

Why do I call, and no answer comes?

Please, tell me, I need to know, to understand, to ease my soul's dark hum.

Perhaps it's worth sharing, perhaps not,

The choice is yours, my dear, my heart is open, like a book.

I'm here to listen, to offer a supportive ear,

If not, I'll still be here, waiting, without a s

peck of fear.
