Sorrow's Refrain

"Cry of the motherless boy, echoing across the seas,
A haunting melody, like a morning glory's sigh.
A sad song, filled with anger and sorrow,
Eyes brimming with tears, as memories unfold.

He recalls the sweet serenade of tree birds,
Once sung through the window, now a distant echo.
He yearns to hear it again, to soothe his soul,
But it's lost, leaving only longing and pain.

The motherless boy lies restless, in a bed of despair,
Sorrowful and alone, with no comfort in sight.
His cry resonates, a heart-wrenching plea,
For the love and solace he's never known."
